Hi,
I'm writing this for a long time member, disintegration. Since she is unable to use the site once she logs on, she asked me to write for her and ask for help.
She wrote:
"...when I browse the site without logging in, I can move easily through the site but when I do log in it freezes up and I can't use any functions because the site suddenly becomes slow or it will direct me back to the start page?"
She also wrote that this has been happening to her for over a year.

I think there is a problem with the server as I had the same problem about two hours ago.... but I am okay now!

You log in, then you can't look in the forum and it throw you back to the front page and logs you out!

There's no problem with the server today.

The OP indicates that the problem has been happening to the member for over a year (and we've been on 3 servers since then).

Nunu, what browser and version is she using? Has she cleared her CACHE and her COOKIES?

Thanks for getting back to me, Kat. I asked her and this is what she responded:

"I guess tell Kat that I vary browsers from Mozilla to IE..the recent versions of both. Neither work properly. I actually think it has to do with a block on my user name of something. If my bf logs on at his job as his user name he has no problems, however when he logs in with my user name..it gets all weird. Super slow and then when it finally does something it takes me back to the open page. It's odd."

As I mentioned above: Did she clear her cookies and her cache?

Neither one those have to do with her browser. They are related to settings on her computer.
