Question Menapause inducers and PCOS?

Hi all

I wanna know if anyone knows anything about the long term effects of using hormone inhibiting (chemical menapause inducing) drugs with PCOS? I've been trying to do the research but, to be honest, there's not a lot out there.

Also, if any of our older ladies know anything about hormone replacement therapy and PCOS I'd appreciate their input as well.

Thanks

Kyl

Default Not sure what youmean

Hi there,

Please clarify what you mean by "menopause inducing" drugs. I'm not sure what your getting at, but I have a hunch.

Best,

What I mean are drugs, usually given by injection, which stop the production of reproductive hormones and effectively put the body into chemical menapause That is REALLy the only way I can describe it.

The drug I'm on is called prostap, although from what I know it is not used in the USA (could be wrong, but that's what my research suggests) I know that there are others though
