Hey, I am noticing a very sad trend here....Were are all the men? Are we all that detached about what is going on with our wives? Or, wives....is this message board your best kept secret? Probably a little of both! Mainly it is the mens fault because we do have a bad tendency to not be involved the way we should..But lets all try to work to change that. Women..I urge you to get your husbands on here. Let them know that they have someone here who is just like them....Someone who GETS what it is to be a husband or boyfriend of a PCOSer. It is the toughest job you will ever love! So lets get the boys involved! I am new to this board myself, and it is a bit intimidating. But I would like to see a day when it is more than just the moderators, PCOSers and maybe 1 or 2 husbands/boyfriends posting. The men should be getting on and chatting like the ladies! my wife had a blast last night in a chatroom. So any ideas? Lets get them out there! I want to see Husbands & Boyfriends of Cysters jammed!!

Lightbulb I'm here, just not all that vocal

I surf this site while I am at work. I have not had a great deal of time to come here lately. Been kind of busy. I spend most of my time reading rather than responding. Most of my questions are answered by looking around here and there. When I see a post that grabs my attention, I might post a response. I feel that this site is more of an area that I need to respect. Many of the Cysters are dealing with some pretty serious issues here. Sometimes I get more info that I really wanted to know.

My DW has depression and has finally gotten help. She does not exhibit some of the extreme behavior that some have to struggle through. Most of this can be hard to deal with at times.

I have been a member for almost a year. I just do not post all that often.

Glad to see you post! Glad also to hear that your DW has gotten the help that she needs. It seems to affect every woman a little differently. You are right, there are definately a lot of serious issues here with these special ladies. it is good that you are keeping up with the knowledge. It makes it easier to deal with the ups and downs when you know what is going on within their bodies as well as within their minds. I just cant imagine what the burden is that they carry everday. Just be there when you can...Sometimes us husbands have to remember that we cant always be there for them. that is why they have this type of website. Only another woman with PCOS can really understand completely. Just let her cry with you when she wants to. Let her laugh with you when she wants to. And yes, even let her yell at you when she wants to. I am still learning how to do all this myself..But I try. Somedays I am 100 % for my DW. Somedays I need to do better. I can still be really selfish. But I have a great wife who knows that I am a work in progress. I bet your wife knows that of you as well. Hang in there brother! We are husbands of PCOS hotties and damn proud! Post when you can.

I'm sure that most of the men who are on this site, are on to support their DW/(SO) etc. For myself, I spend more time in other sites for chatting, generally, tho I have been seen in the chat room on more than one occasion

This forum has kind of become a "Ask the men" forum rather than a "man to man" forum. It can be both, for sure

In any case, ladies, feel free to post here, as I'm sure you already know.

And, of course, welcome to tpall!

*hanging head*

I get so distracted with my 3001 projects I'm working on.

I'll work harder at showing my sorry backside around here.
