I haven't heard, thus far, about any mental symptoms but I do know that it can take a HUGE toll on your emotions! Depression can follow if you aren't careful...and sometimes even if you are. But unfortunately that's all that I can answer for ya! I am new to this, myself, and will be looking for any replies with information that I don't have! Good Luck!!

I am not sure if there is a correlation between PCOS and causing mental symptoms. As imissfredastaire said It is possible to go through depression because of the emotional roller coaster PCOS can bring. I would imagine there are other ways people with PCOS can get depression (due to infertility, miscarriages, etc.) I am very intrested in finding if anyone knows anything about this.
