Merry Christmas, and in broader terms Happy Holidays to all.

Hey KK... we're both doing well. It's hard sometimes to find maternity clothes when you're a tall girl, but gap.com has helped out quite a lot.
Thought you might like to know what I'm listening to as I write this.... The English Concert & Choir - G.F. Handel- Messiah (disc 1) - 19 - His yoke is easy, his burthen is light (chorus).mp3
Best wishes to you & yours!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!!!

When I was Classical Music Director at our local NPR radio station, I always played excerpts from Handel's "Messiah" on my show during the Christmas season. I love it, too. Our choir sang it in High School. What a thrill to sing the "Hallelujah" chorus! I also love "For Unto Us a Child is Born" ("And His name shall be Called...Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the PRINCE OF PEACE!") That always gives me goosebumps!

Hey, Eric!
I didn't know you sang! Were you a tenor or bass? I was an alto. I don't think I could do it now. I don't have the lung power anymore and just croak like a frog!

LOL.. yeah, I can sing. (ahem, I was in All State choir in highschool) LMAO
I'm a bass.. was baritone in HS, but my voice has gotten deeper over the years. I was in the church choir for a bit too last year.. but then a small group of people ran the pastor out (a story for another day) and we haven't been back in awhile.
We actually just got a piano, and I'm trying to brush up my skills... I took lessons for a long time, like 10 years... my problem now is that I can play almost anything I know, in one of 3 or 4 keys.. but my sight-reading skills have gone to hell in a handbasket. So, i'm kinda starting over.
