Message for Sammie (and others) re: Dr's

Hi Sammie,

I tried to send you an email but it said your email box is full.

I saw your post regarding Dr. Strakosh and was wondering if you could email (or post) with more info. Eg. does he a specialist in pcos, is he an older, caring/nice Dr? Do you have to wait for long when you arrive for appointments/busy office etc?

My Daughter has alot of external pcos symptoms (very self concious) so I am looking for an endo in Brisbane, that she would be comfortable going to see (eg. not a big, busy practice).

I would appreciate any help or reccomendations for Dr's in Brisbane. I have read the other thread, and will also look into the endo's recommended, but would love to hear any comments from others!

Dr Strakosh is very to the point (sometimes very blunt) But I liked him, and trust him 100%.

His in his mid 50's, and I would say, yes, he is caring, and is a specialist in PCOS. He is awesome. He did more for me in 2 visits than 15 other doctors did in a hundred visits.
The last time I went in to see him I had to wait about 20 minutes before I went in, but it wasnt really flooded with people.

Good luck to your daughter, and good on you Mum for being so supportive.

Thank you very much for your reply, I really appreciate your input (more than you could ever know)!!

Were you referring to the consulting clinic at Sherwood or Ipswich? Just checking so that I can let my daughter know that the clinic has only a small waiting time and convince her that the appointment won't be too much of an ordeal (she is painfully self consious due to her pcos external symptoms).

Sorry, yes, it is the Ipswich office I was talking about.
