i saw a new ob/gyn today and he rx actos 15mg and met 500mg(to start). i took gluc xr 1500mg for 5 mo. and it didn't do much for me. i lost some weight, but no af/O. he ordered a bunch of hormone tests to see what exactly gluc xr did for me besides the weight-loss. he switched me to regular met because he said that it works better than the xr. i'm hoping actos + met will regulate af/O. if not, we'll try them with femara.
