Default Met, AF and pregnancy question

The first time I took met I wasn't getting af on my own and it took 1000mg to bring on AF but i got pregnant that first cycle. Now i'm on it again but I have been getting AF on my own for 7 months (whooohhooo) I'm on it again because I haven't been able to get pregnant.
Do you think that taking 500mg this time might do the trick since I am getting af or does that have nothing to do with it??
I just hope I'm lucky and this one month of Met will work. Although I'm due to ovulate this week and i've only been on it for three days~ maybe the next cycle??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated ladies

well, it took me about 6 months to fall pregnant with Cian. Ok, we weren't trying to avoid or ttc either.. it was a glorious fluke. I'd been on met over a year by that point and was getting af regularly but still assumed we'd have problems.
All I can suggest is don't fret too much, have sex when you feel like it (believe me, your body is great at letting you know when you're most fertile, hehe) and take care of yourself! good luck! lots of baby dust your way!

I think met does help, I was getting af on my own without it but my cycles were erratic and my hormones were terribly low. I was menstruating but not actually ovulating, which is wierd. Met got things back on track. I was on 1000mg a day but I hear even 500 can make a difference.
