Default Met and being Blocked up

I'm just wondering is it possible that met will make you blocked up???

I have read that diareha can be a side effect, but I seem to have gone the opposite way and get blocked up for a few days...

Anyone know how to relieve this???

eating more fiber helps. I do know what you mean about the opposite side effects I too had constipation when I first started Met but now after three months my body is back regular. so eat your Fruits and Veggies

I had this problem, too. I had over 6 days of it in the beginning, and had to take milk of magnesia to get things going. I've had a lot more fruit in my diet since then, and things seem to be moving along better. Also, drink a lot of water.

I vasilated between blocking up and the runs...yikes. When i would get constipated I would take an herbal laxitive called Senokot. If I took it before bed, it would "unplug" things in the morning. Increasing fiber, lots of fruits and veggies and running regularly have made me very regular now.

Thanks... I always drink tons of water ... I had increased my fruits and veggies and fiber, but I guess not quite enough...
