Anyone on this doozie or a combination? I started taking it on Monday and have already started to lose the urge to smoke. It's the strangest feeling ever.

Just seeing if anyone else has had success with it and if anyone has any interactions with their met!

Keep up the great work all. Been a while since I posted. Lost track for a while, but I'm back... and back on my met.

I'm a sucker for google lol. This is what I found so far as drug interactions. I think maybe you were looking for people specifically taking chantix and met so I can't help you there. I also wanted to say good luck My sister is starting chantix on Nov 1st. I hope the best for you!!

Drug-Drug Interactions
Drug interaction studies were performed with varenicline and digoxin, warfarin, transdermal nicotine, bupropion, cimetidine and metformin. No clinically meaningful pharmacokinetic drug-drug interactions have been identified.

The first week of Chantix, I noticed I enjoyed smoking much less - the nicotine high was gone in half a week - but I didn't lose the urge to smoke (habit). I noticed being a little sleepy and not as spirited as usual. After my successful quit day, I would get nauseated to the point of vomiting soon after taking it. So I'm getting a refund. I figure, I've actually gone some time without smoking (something I hadn't done since starting), I can do it without the meds at this point. I don't like the smell of smoke, but I hate the smell of regurgitated food and bodily fluids - ick.
