I'm in the first week of my 2nd full cycle on met. My first one was 50 days long, but it was almost succesful (pg but m/c in a week). I was just wondering if my cycle lengths should become more normal over the next few months, or if they will stay this long? (Before met, I only got AF 3 times a year.)

What dose of metformin are you on and how long did it take for you to ovulate? I'm on 1000 mg and awaiting ovulation. I'm unsure if this dose is enough. My insulin level was not that high (14 IU/mL) so my doctor wanted to start me low.

for me I am on 1500mgs of met and my cycles are 26-27 days long and only last for 3 and 1/2 days.........

I'm on 1500 mg of Met, and I o'd on CD31 of my first full cycle on Met. My temps were all over the place, and I thought it would be anovulatory, but then I o'd. Then, I had very flat temps until the m/c. What I'm hoping is that it just took those 31 days for Met to really kick in and that I'll have normal cycle lengths from here on out. Anyone have this experience?

Before I conceived ds I was on 2000 mg of Met and my cycles were 32 days exactly every month. I just started taking Met again and I am anxious to see what my cycles will be. Sorry for your loss.
