Default Met and Depression

Hi girls,

Just wanted to share my experience with you! I have been severly depressed since the beginning of Jan to the point where I was withdrawing from everyone...couldn't wait to sleep at night! I was barely functioning! I was crying all the time, moody!

Well because of an allergic reaction I had on Met I stopped it! My last tabs were on Friday! Well lo and behold! I feel like a new women today! I can't believe how great I feel since stopping Met!!! I know it works for a lot of PCOS women but it obviously wasn't a good fit for me! I didn't really relate the depression to Met because I've had lots of other stressful things going on but I can't believe how great I feel today!

I am going to start exercising and eating healthy on my own at this point and hopefully in time god will listen to my prayers! Just had to share in case someone else is going through something similar and not relating the 2!

I'm so glad you're feeling better.

Here's an article that might explain why met triggered depression for you: Metformin & Depression

Thanks for the link Kat! I never related the two but I'm glad all is well now! I think maybe the allergic reaction was a blessing in disguise for me! I feel so happy and cheerful like I can conquer anything right now!
