Unhappy Met & 'fluffy' hair

Does anyone have this problem? Since taking 1000mg Met for almost 4 months now my hair around my temples has stopped falling out (hurrah) and is slowly growing back but...... my hair now goes madly frizzy/fluffy whenever it is washed and blow dried. I've tried many different shampoos, conditioners and various treatments and glossing serums but nothing works. I am beginning to think that the Met may be affecting my hair - is this happening to anyone else and if so, is it ever likely to stop or am I resigned to having bad hair days forever, only what with the moustache and acne I'm beginning to look a bit scary!

My hair has always been frizzy but its gotten worse on met. I use Therema Silk and thier leave in conditioner. I also use a straightener. It works wonders and leaves my hair soft. Hope this helps some.

I'm resorting to using my straighteners every other day to try and get the hair smoother, the irritating thing is by the time my hair has calmed down and is behaving, it's time to wash it again. At least I know it's not just me that it's happening to.

Thanks.

It is a double edged sword for me, because if I use any conditioner or frizz product, my hair will be greasy within hours. So I just use shampoo and let those new hairs fluff out since I would rather look frizzed or fluffed than greasy...yuck.

I wish I could post a pic of my hair right now. It is too funny. It is in a ponytail, but all the hair in the front and around my face is sticky up. I live in Houston and we are having a very humid spell right now so it makes it worse.

Ya know, my hair has always been frizzy, but in the past few months I've noticed it's alot worse. I never thought about Met being the culprit, but I bet it is. One min. I think Met is a wonderdrug, the next I'm cursing the crap

I usually blow dry my hair straight, but lately even that's not working. It just kinda does what it wants to no matter what I do.

You might try one of the new ionic blow dryers. They are supposed to help smooth out frizzy hair.
