Default Met and Heart Pounding

Just wondering if anyone has noticed heart issues while on Met. I've always had a bit of an irregular heartbeat that acted up during times of stress, but it hasn't bothered me in ages. I have noticed sinced I have gone full dose, 1500mg in January, it is acting up again. It is especially worse if I have an alcoholic drink, which I don't do anymore. I haven't talked to my doctor yet cause I keep thinking it will stop, but it hasn't.

Keep in touch with your doc if you have any issues like that that concern you. I remember that when I first started met, I had a couple of episodes where it felt like my heart was kind of "fluttering" sometimes. I talked to my doc, and he said they'd keep an eye on it, but I haven't had it now for years.

I get this all the time now that I'm on met! I told my doc about it and he said it is common with stress (I have a high pressure job). I never related it to the met. Let me know what you find out!!

Default met and heart pounding

It did the same to me. I found out later, I don't eat enough !!! You gotta
have a "small" snack, something high fiber is good. A piece of WHOLE GRAIN
bread and peanutbutter did the trick for me.
