Does anyone know if it is ok to take herbal remedies when on met. I have been reading about the one for pms called chaste berry aka agnus castus.

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure you should do one or the other. Herbs and drugs can have bad interactions as well as counteract each other. I did herbs for a while w/no results and have now switched to met only. Melissa

I am about 50 pounds overweight. I just went on Metformin and wanted to go on the herb Xenadrine as well. The pharmacist said it should be fine as long as you waited 3 hours between taking them. Is that true?
