Default met and liver test

The last time I was taking metformin I had my liver enzymes checked and they were elevated. I hadn't been taking it very long and my enzymes were only slightly elevated but may have went up higher if I continued it. Anyone have this troulbe?

Well it happened to me as well when I was on met a few years ago. I was taking rezulin (that was a wonder drug for my physiological make-up) when it was pulled I went to met. On met on a short while and my enzymes became elevated, I went off met not because of that but cause the tummy distress was just to much. I just recently (this month) had blood done enzymes are absolutely fine and I asked to go back on met. So not sure if it was the met causing this or not will see in time. Could have been the rezulin or maybe celebrex back then.

Sorta OT but I am on double the met I was on back then and have no negative effects at all now. I personally contribute that to not eating a diet rich in fatty greasy gassy foods.
