Default Met - Maybe its working?!

First of all, let me be the first to say I HATE MET! It makes me feel horrible all the time...almost to the point that I wanted to stop taking it. BUT, a few days ago, I had my first "non-induced" period (no progesterone supplements to start it) since as long as I can remember! It came as a shock, especially since it started around CD 18, but I'll take anything at this point.

So is it normal that the met "kicks in" even if its in the middle of the cycle? Maybe this one was when my period normally would be? And is it pretty normal to have a heavier flow with met, at least the first time?

Now if I can just ovulate, I'll be in business!

Thanks
