Well, I've been on Met since July... 1500mg since August.... and it has seemed to help my PMS symptoms a little bit... they are milder. I've never had them bad but I can tell a difference. The only thing that I've noticed besides that (in the bleeding department) is that I will feel those mild symptoms much earlier than usual... like a week or 10 days earlier. Nothing bad, though... just enough so I expect it to arrive

For me, my PMS has gotten worse, but only because I totally didn't have periods for years. I get the mood swings and it has been a new thing to get used to in my 30's. My cramps have improved though because I am menstruating regularly and have less lining to shed.

I hurt for you, Christa. When I was 18, my periods were just like yours...regular but SO heavy and painful. It is a tough thing to go through as a teen.

Take care.
