a friend of mine wants to take met to help with pcos... but she doesnt want to get preg either... can she take this? with bcp or without or both or can anyone tell me?

Since when are hormones only for reproduction? Hormones affect everything...mood, appetite, skin, weight etc. Anyone who wants to improve their hormones can be on met...it may have the side effect of increasing fertility, but that's only because it's helping your hormones normalize.
