Question Met question

When I was pregnant I was taking pre-natal vitamins, they were high in iron so they made me constipated and uncomfortable, but I still took them. My doctor said I could continue taking them after my son was born but I didn't because I felt like I would explode if I did. My question is, do you think starting them again would help with the diarhea side effects of Met, or should i not mix the two?

Iron really isn't related to the side effects of Met...if anything, it would make your tummy troubles worse since you have to take them on an empty stomach and they make a lot of people nauseaus. Unless your Dr perscribes them, i wouldn't reccommend taking anything extra right now, beyond a Multivitamin. Hope it helps.
