Hi, I have only been on this board and on the Met for a few months, just dx'ed in late Jan, but I just went for my 3 month bloodwork and my Endo just called and had I have a good report so far! My insulin went from 15 to 5 in 3 months and I have lost 21 lbs also, the IR Diet book is great!! Other issues (icky hair) have not changed so much, but I am thrilled with my weight loss, and when I am consistent it really works, other times it feels like I am on a plateau, so then I try and do better as I am not always perfect about all of this, I do have my moments(chocolate~pms). Anyway, just wanted to share my 3 months story, thanks for listening!

Hi Holly,
I haven't had a plateau yet. I have been losing about 1-1.5 pounds a week. I worked out harder before I started Met and need to get back to my higher intensity workouts. I hope to keep losing at this rate until I reach my goal weight. Good luck!

Thanks everyone, sometimes it is easier for me to complain/worry, etc, so I thought sharing something positive might be helpful too. I do know that for me, when I am not trying my best with combination of diet/excercise and Met, my weight doesn't really move, so I hope that I can get over this sinus infection from a cold and horrible allergies and get my butt back in gear. I have never been so excited to get back into the routine, I guess what I am saying is, I never thought I would ever be able to lose weight after all I have tried, and now, I feel like I finally figured out how my body works, right now anyway, thanks guys, and good luck to all!
