I started taking met xr just over a week ago. I noticed a small change in bm's almost right away, but not any bad s/e at all so far. I've also upped my dose to 1000mg and had no problems. SO... I am wondering if there's any correlation between having bad s/e and whether or not you are IR.

I had a hard time voting! My tests came out negative for IR, but my doctor feels that I have all the other symptoms of IR, so she diagnosed me with it. I have had some side effects (like nausea) but that's about it. Maybe another choice should be added for those women who have some side effects and are not IR?

All I have is the fullness, like I took a diet pill. It has severly reduces my appetite and I feel full a lot faster.
I have had a little nausea, but not much.

ttc naturally for the first time just came off 5 rounds of clomid 50mg, O'ed each time taking metformin, prenatals, folic acid, prometrium, and baby asprin. Started to O naturally December 2006
Sounds like minimal s/e, that's great! I read so many things about the horrid s/e that I was paranoid that I'd be running to the bathroom and sick all the time. I'm happy to see there are just as many people that don't have the bad s/e!
