Default Met and skipping heartbeat

Has anyone else expierienced this? I have been on met for a few months now, after going off of it to have my twins, but prior to going off of it, I was on it for 2 years, and with the last few weeks I have noticed my HB skipping. Is this related to the met? I never had it before, my mom thinks it is anxiety attacks, never had those before either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was just about to say could be anxiety. I had an allergic reaction to a med and now I aleays freak out while taking new meds and always feel symtpoms that arent there. On Met I got a rash and leg pain and freaked out and felt like my heart was doing that too but after I calmed down it went away

Yes, when I went back on Met after having my first baby, my doc had me go straight from 1000 mg's of Met ER to 2000 the next week. It really messed with me. I had scary diarrhea and irregular heartbeat, etc. I went down to 1500 mg's and have been fine ever since. Not sure if the heartbeat was a side effect, but haven't seen it in months... Hope that helps!

HI ladies,
I think it is not the Met per se that messes up with your heart, it it that Met depletes your body of B2, B6 and probably B12 vitamins. All those Bs are the vitamins that help your heart funstion properly. What I have discovered is that I will feel a lot better if I take Foltex or Folgart, a B2,6,12 and Folic Acid combination. It is good for you, not to mention how ggod it is for any future pregnancy,
There some articles on the net about Met and Vitamin B depletion, you might wnat to try and find some.
