I'm thin, non-IR, and am starting met. There is research out there that it works, but as with anything it just depends on the person.

There is really good info in there about thin PCOS in general and more specifics on how exactly met works in our bodies.
Good luck getting a doc to rx it for you since many don't seem informed. Some cysters have lots of luck getting it but not me (I'm self medicating while I'm continuing the doc search).
