Yesterday I went for my check up i should have had at the beginning of October. (I know I should have gone sooner) I saw a great NP and she gave me birth control (I would like to wait a bit for another child) and metformin. She did tell me that Tricare will not always approve this drug for people who are not diabetic. She informed me of all the side effects and all.
I guess I am a bit worried to fill the Rx and then have Tricare reject the Rx in the feature. Has anyone had this?
I have been on met formin the whole time i have been on tricare and never had a problem with it...but since you live in san diego if you go to balboa pharmacy they will fill it for you and you wont have to worry about paying for it.

sorry you can actually go to any of the pharmacies...there is one on the northisland base that doesnt have quite the long wait and one at NTC as well...I would suggest going to one of those pharmacies if you are worried about it.
