 Met w/ severe I.B.S.
I have I.B.S. and after 6 months on Clomid w/ ovulation and no pregnancy, my doctor started me on Metformin 1500mg's a day. Here's the thing, I am 5'1 and weigh 110lbs. I have been tested for insulin resistance in the past and nothing out of the normal. With the side effects of Met on my first dosage I am sick. Is it worth it or even smart to take Met? Will my I.B.S. flare up really badly? Keep in my mind that when it flares I get dangerously sick. Any thoughts would really help. |
