Don't ya' just hate all the different scales? It cracks me up how 'off ' scales are from one another, and yet the pound is a universal measurement!
Since you were weighing yourself on so many scales there is no way of knowing if they were all calibrated the same. Different scales can be off by several pounds and if all these scales are several pounds of each other, you have no way of knowing what your real weight is.
I would pick one and weigh yourself on it regularly. Disregard all the other scales and just find one that you can weigh yourself on consistently. That way you have one consistent benchmark on which to gauge yourself.
16 pounds is rather high for a one month period, although women on some extremely low carb diet have dropped that much. My Dr warned me against losses greater than 2 pounds per week...statistically speaking, when you lose a ton of weight like that, it isn't off to stay and it isn't as healthy for your body.
I don't want to discourage you...it is entirely possible that you are losing weight. But if you stick to one scale you'll know for certain if you are losing and won't have to guess about your success. Good luck!
PS Your trip sounds so WONDERFUL! I'm getting vacation envy!
