Default Met withdrawals??

I was taken off Met on Tuesday, after being on it for just over 6 weeks. Was taken off it because it made me too ill.

I felt pretty good on Wednesday and Thursday then early hours Friday morning got a migraine and I still have it now (it's 5pm Saturday). It's driving me crazy, I'm in SOOO much pain.

Has anyone else stopped Met and had this happen? Could this be my body withdrawing from it?? I just want to feel better ***cry***

How are you feeling now?

I increased my Met a couple of weeks ago, and about a week into it, I got a terrible migraine that just wouldn't quit, no matter how many pain relievers I took. I also started feeling woozy and shaky, so I attributed it to the higher dose of Met, and my doctor put me back down to a lower dose. The headache was gone within a day.

Maybe the headache is caused because you still have levels of Met in your system? Did you quit cold-turkey, or did you taper down?

Ambien CR, 12.5 mg. Yep, I'm an addict!
Effexor XR, 150 mg.
Metformin, 1000 mg.

One round 50 mg Clomid cd 5-9 + 500 mg Met = SURPRISE BFP after being told O hadn't happened!!!

Aidyn Charlotte was born via planned c-section on February 7, 2007--exactly one year to the day after my diagnosis!

Thank you so much for your response.

I just stopped taking them cold turkey, as the gyno told me to. Perhaps that wasn't the best thing to do, I don't know? I sometimes think these specialists don't give the best advice as they themselves haven't been through the effects!!

It's Sunday morning now, and it feels like it has subsided a tiny bit, fingers crossed, it's just so depressing the met made me sick on it, and sick off it!! arggghh
