Default Met & Yaz, No Period

I've been on Met all month, and just finished my pack of Yaz, and no period. I've been "sorta" cramping, and a few times I even felt like smashing things I was so cranky, but no AF. I've had problems with periods for YEARS, so I'm not exactly surprised, but seeing as some women have AF with just Met, sometimes twice in a month, and I USUALLY have AF with BCPs, I'm sorta surprised.

I'm also wondering if I should call any of the doctors, or just do my second month, and note that I skipped this cycle? I have to go into the doctor anyways, I guess I could let it drop that I skipped.

Any thoughts or "Oh yea, that happened to me too" would be welcome.

This is funny. I posted too soon. AF just stopped in for a last minute visit. Holy mother of cramping.

Glad you got AF...

For future reference, when on BCP's it isn't uncommon to skip periods, especially with the newer low dose pills (Yaz, etc). You can make a note of it and mention it to your doctor, but I am sure they would tell you it is nothing to worry about. I am on Ortho Tri-Cyclen LO and occasionally skip AF or have just some very light spotting.

You sound like me last week! I finished the pink pills of my third pack last Saturday. AF usually comes Sunday afternoon. AF showed up Wednesday when I started the new pack. I have a gyno appointment tomorrow. I'm going to ask about that (and the seemingly endless other issues that require answers :-)

Thanks for all the answers! I never skipped before, didn't even consider that it was the low dose.

I have doctor appt tomorrow to ask about the fibromyalgia/laundry list of "symptoms" (pain), and get some antibiotics. I feel butt-whooped! Hoping that AF now goes home! (That is to say, away!)
