Does anyone out there know if Metformin makes you feel sick on your stomach and you don't want to eat anything? I just started on it on Monday 02/28/05.

Absolutely it can make you sick to your stomach - your body will need to adjust to this med - please be sure to eat something when you're taking it. Hang in there - it gets better!

I just tried the link for the metforming information but it doens't work. Or at least I can't get it to work.

Sorry, not sure why the link wasn't working - I couldn't get it to work myself. Well, anyway... The Metformin forum is located on the main page of the SC site - you should it located under Medications.

As far as stomach aches go...always make sure to take met with food. If you don't it will hurt. You can still get aches if you do eat but they should be less. I eat something than take pill.
