I'll share this because I am glad to know that I am not alone the only one that has had this problem with Met. This has to be my most embarrasing moment ever. I wasn't warned about the side effects of Met. The first day that I took it. I was with my boyfriend. I took my first pill at dinner that night. Later we went to a movie. That is where my stomach started rumbling. I thought that it was just something that I ate, and that it would pass as usual. Boy! was I wrong. We happened to have my car that night, and on the way to drop him off the rumbling got worse. I was so scared that he was going to hear it, so I kept turnning the radio up, and he kept turnning it down be cause he wanted to talk. :o Finnally we got to his house. I dropped him off and kept going. I still had a half hour drive to my place. It just got worse and worse. I ended up stopping on the side of a country road and going there. It was awful. Luckily I had just done laundry. I had to change clothes right there outside under the moon! Thank G-d there were no cars going by. :o It has gotten much better, but I still have a bad day from time to time. This is my second month with Met. and it has gotten better. As long as I don't skip doses and I eat lower carbs., I seem to do okay now. Gotta go for now. Neeque

OMG! That has to be one of the worst stories about met that I have heard! And shame on your doc for not warning you of the s/e! Of course I have had the same issue with the met, just not an incident that bad! LOL, the things we have to do! Melissa
