Question Metformin

Hi

I have just returned from Aus - and my IVF dr prescribed my metformin. I don't have a gyno here and wondered whether my new GP would prescribe it or would I be referred to a Gyno to get it...

I'm assuming you've returned from Aus to New Zealand? Your GP can prescribe it, I guess if you had more specific issues they may refer you on to a Gyno or you could ask for a refferal if you would feel more comfortable dealing with a Gyno.

Thanks! Yup from Aus back to NZ. I've just stopped breastfeeding so I'm eager to see if Metformin will kick start my AF (not that we want another baby at this stage) - just would be good to be hormonally balanced :-D and stop these mood swings.
