Points: 422.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 422.00 | metformin 850mg hi folks i was wondering if could advise me my gp hs given me metformin 850mg which is states on the bottle
however i have to take this 2 x daily does this mean i am actually on 1700mg ie is each tablet 850mg
hope you can advise

Keep in mind that it will take a little time for your body to adjust to the higher dose...what I mean is, it may not fix everything in a week or so. (For some of us our hormones are just more stubborn!) I'm glad you're getting the higher dose, and hopefully it will help, but for some of us, the process of getting our reproductive health back takes a little time. Be patient with yourself, and let the met do all it can do. He'll probably want to check your labs again to see if the increased dose is helping. As far as the clomid goes, that is a decision you and your doc will have to make together. I will just share with you that sometimes, putting other drugs that work on your hormones can sort of mask the true effects of met (It doesn't always give a true picture of whether or not the met is really helping). I am glad to hear that you're feeling better, and hopefully, given time, the met will do its thing!
