Funny..I was wondering the same thing. I've been on Gluc XR for about 1 1/2 weeks now. I'm up to 1000mg. I was on BCP for about 10 years and went off them Dec 2002 and as son as I stopped the BCP my face was so gross. Before that I never had a problem. I've tried everything that you can buy at the pharmacy to Proactiv. Nothing worked. Well now my face is not at all as oily as it was before and if I use the soap I have been using my face gets completely dry. I HAVE to use moisturizer now. Strange. My acne is also controlling itself a lot better. So I don't know if it's because it's getting colder and that's making my face dry out, but my acne was bad last Jan/Feb too... So it could be good news for met!!!

I hope this helps you!!!

Met helped my acne. I'm on regular gluc. 2000mg a day. I must say I'm not 100% clear, but about 98%. I still get the occasional zit, but NOTHING compared to what I used to get. I love met!
