After 3 years ttc we finally got a BFP last week on our 6th round of clomid, but am now miscarrying.

I've been on metformin for 8 months (2500mg/day). My fasting insulin before taking it was 76 and I had it rechecked 2 days ago and was devastated to find it had gone up to 93!!!
Its impossible to know why I am miscarrying - we have male factor issues to deal with in addition to my problems so who knows where the problem lies, but can't help thinking it was my insulin levels.
Obviously I'm going to redouble my diet and exercise efforts, but I want to hear more about the possibility of using avandia with metformin.
Has anyone had any success with this combination??? Did anyone NOT have their insulin fall on metformin alone?
We were hoping to start IVF in a few months but they won't let us unless my insulin is below 25...help!

I did successfully get pregnant and deliver a healthy baby girl with the help of avandia (8mg) and Metformin (2000mg). I did experience a lot of weight gain with avandia, and it takes 3-9 months before you will notice it working.
