I went Friday to my doc for a follow-up checkup after my bloodwork. She is really worried I'll end up with diabetes. My Dad (one of 10 children) and all his brothers had/have problems with their heart and most of them are diabetic.
I was on Zocor and Avandia and my insulin resistance went up and my triglycerides and cholesterol.
She added Met at 1000 mg a day, niaspan once a day, Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C and a multi-vitamin. I wish all the pills would fill me up so I wouldn't eat! LOL!
Any thoughts on all these meds or you experiences with them would be greatly appreciated! ...and prayers that I can get my system straightened out too.
