 Metformin and BCP
I am taking Dianette as my PCOS treatment and I have been on and off it since March 2003, when I was diagnosed. I am 21 years old. I have heard a lot about Metformin, but perhaps medicine in Ireland a bit behind as my doctor does not think that anything but Dianette can help me. I am within my healthy weight but not skinny at all and I have suffered with quite bad acne and hirsutism, although laster treatment + BCP are helping this a lot. I don't want to get pregnant for the foreseeable future but I would like to hear any views on Met and if or not it would actually be benficial to me, thanks a lot. |
