Default Metformin & cycles

I started Metformin in Sept. The same time I started Charting To TTC. My periods have always been regular...around 29 day cycles. Ever since I started the metformin, it seems my cycles are not as regualer. In September, it was a 36 day cycle. My 2nd cycle is at 32 days right now.

Anyone else experiance this? I'm confused. I thought Metformin was supposed to regulate cycles, and instead it has taken my regular cycles and made them not regular.
Makes it really hard when TTC! I'm also afraid I'm not ovulating.

Anyone? TIA!!

Why did your doctor put you on Met if your cycles were regular? Do you know?

Could it be that even though you had regular periods it was break through bleeding and you werent actually ovulating? Now maybe with the met you are Ovulating and it is throwing the days off?
