I think it should. I asked the nurse at the endo once they said to get the script filled and she said it should. I noticed the pain I have diminish once I got on my reg. dose. When I messed up my dose, I noticed the pain return a bit.
About your ovaries being polycystic, I think that's if you have more than 1 cyst. I have polycystic ovaries - mainly right one - and they said multiple cysts are shown on my u/s. So I'm not positive about this.
