Hi everone!

I'm a girl from the middle of Europe. My problem is that my dr. didnt hear anything about the glorious, as it mentioned, metformin.
Is it regular in your countries that doctors give it for PCOS?

welcome to sc i had a lot of trouble trying to get some metformin from my dr. But i got it after a few years or trying! see you around the boards

It depends on the doctor. Treating PCOS with Metformin is still an off-lable use of the drug. More and more studies have been done showing positive results, so it is becoming a more standard form of treatment. There are still plenty of doctors around here who won't prescribe it for PCOS, though.
