I was wondering what Metformin ER looked like. There was a slight mixup at the pharmacy that I go to. They said they got things straightened out, but I'd like to know for sure. This is my first time to receive this prescription. What color, shape, ;etters or numbers are on the prescription ya'll receive?

Maybe you should go to your library to check out the Physician's Desk Reference, they usually a full-color thumbnails of meds.

Mine are large white 'chalky' oval pills. One side reads 500. The other side has the time release sign (two triangles pointing at each other in vertical arrangment like an hourglass) with the numbers 4435.

That's exactly what mine have on them too. It's good to know it wasn't a complete mixup and that they did straighten things out.
