Default metformin/estrosense/cinnamon

Hello all, I am new to this board. I was diagnosed with pcos 4 years ago when I went to a fertility specialist. I was told by my doc to take metformin. I wanted to get myself healthier by supplementing with some vitamins.
I heard about two alternative medicines was curious if anyone out here has taken them and had success. They are Estrosense and Cinnamon.
thanks for your help.

Hi Katery,

I never tried metforin, but I was told by my doctor that if I decide to have kids one day that is what I would have to do. I really didn't wanted to go that way as I prefer letting things take its course, but 3 years into my relationship we're talking about having kids in the near future and I didn't see how that would happen as I rarely have my period ( 5months average by myself ) or I try to take Provera (10mg) every 2-3 months to "clean the system". I have been diagnosed with PCOS and ultrasound reveiled that my eggs don't mature enough most of the time for me to be able to have my period. I had PCOS for the last 9 years or so. ( I was on the pill only for a year when I was really young) I recently did a lot of research on how to naturally regulate the hormones so that when we decide to have kids on day we can and this is what I found:

what made the most sense out of all the things available was EstroSense as it does try to regulate and clean the system out of the "bad / synthetic" estrogen out of your system. I took vitex couple months before this, but it didn't have much effect on me. I also cut out coffee out of my diet and minimize the sugar intake ( i didn't each THAT much sugar to begin with) and tried to avoid foods and drinks in plastics (that means much more cooking at home) because plastics in your body mimic the effects of estrogen and hence the hormonal imbalance.

Now, it looks like a lot of work, but that was only 2 weeks ago, and I am already seeing amazing results. Nothing has worked for me before like this. After 5 days of taking 4 EstroSense daily, I started having ovulating symptoms (sore breasts, water retention, pain on one side of the ovary) and I haven't seen those in about 9 years!!!!! That kept me going, thinking I was probably on the right track ( although I did consider phnatom ovulation as I did not feel like this in a really long time and I almost gave up on ever being alble to have that again). Here I am 7 days later and I got my period. Also as a bonus, I lost 5 pound in those last 2 weeks, which does not happen easily for me (even if I exercise and go on a diet). I KNEW it was not just me, but something to do with my hormones.... And as if all this was not enough, my face cleared up from acne for the first time in years. I am not sure how this would work for anyone else, but I have to say, for me it has been a miracle fix so far! I didn't know these existed!!!!!

Good luck to you and I would definitely try this, I hope it works for you.

Default thanks

Thank you for your response. Since my first posting on this subject I did decide to start taking estrosense, with my pharmacist approval. I have taken it for the last couple months and I love it. It really did make a difference in my cycle and now for the first time my cycle lasted 28 days- that has never happened to me.
My only concern now is my fertility doc told me that i do have increased prolactin and will have to choose whether or not to take parlodel for the prolactin or take the estrosense which has mild thistle in it (which would counter act the parlodel).
So I do have quite a decision to make.
Thanks again, Good luck to you.

just a little update, today I found out that I am pregnant, after using it about
3 months.
Everybody out there who is having trouble conceiving because they
don't ovulate or not regularly, please give it a try, if it doesn't work in
the following month or so after you start, it might not be for you, but for
most people the results are extremely quick and it's all natural.

good luck to everyone.

Wow, I wrote this post months ago and I did try Estrosense and me too, 3 months later I found out I am pregnant too. Congratulations to you. It was a great product. May not be for everyone and it does not claim to help with infertility, but it did work for me.
