Default Metformin Extended Release Vs. Regular???

Hi Ladies,

has anyone tried both extended release and regular versions of metformin? Did you see any difference in how it regulated your cycles or in the side effects you got?

Would really appreciate any feedback you can share..especially on how the extended release formula helped regulate your cycle because I have been on 2000mg of the XR version (1000mg twice daily) since May and have still nto seen a single cycle from the met alone. I'm switching to the regular version of met and hoping it will make a difference!

Thanks in advance for your input ladies!

That's ok, there's another thread that actually answers this question. Check it out:

I will go check that thread too... I've tried both versions, multiple doses, varying timeframes with identical side effects and failure to bring on AF.
