I've been realllllly tired on it....and I don't even remember when I first went on it, at least 8 months ago probably. It hasn't gotten any better for me....but when I take my multivitamins I notice a big difference.

I got really tired on met too. To the point where I wouldn't be able to stay awake in the middle of the day. I had to take a nap. Some days it was almost like passing out. I tried taking it two different times, each for about 6 months. Same problem. It didn't seem to matter when I took it, either.

Try taking a B-Complex vitamin in the a.m. Not quite sure which one, but met is known to cause a b vitamin deficency. Helps alot with the fatigue.

It might be low blood sugar. I wasn't eating as much food as usual last May, and I was tired for like an entire week. I've found that I can't just "nibble" on Met., as I get dizzy and tired.

I have only been on it a few days and I feel really tired, BUT I am not sure if it is Met or the fact I cut out sugar and diet soda. I am hoping it will go away. I can barely focus at work!!

I would second the b-complex supplementation. Met is known to deplete b12 (I think).

I say take a B-complex also. That is what I did and boy did it make things better. Also that is just one of the things that met does to some people. I say take the largest dose of met in the evening and the smaller dose in the am. Something else that might help is changing to ER met.

I'll have to agree. I started with a B complex vitamin and the fatigue has gone away. Also, switching to ER really helped with the GI problems and hair loss that I was having. You may want to try that.

Would you suggest just B12 or a complex?
