Default metformin & fybromyalgia

I started metformin on Saturday night and since my fybromyalgia has flared up and I'm very sore and achy. Has anyone else got FMS and taking met and experienced any associated effects....
Thanks guys.

Its funny that you ask that, cause I have been wondering the same thing. Its hard for me to know whether the body pain is worse cause of the met or because I am breastfeeding less and my hormones are returning to their normal way of operating. Pregnancy and breastfeeding have done wonders for my Fibromyalgia- I had the least amount of body pain, aches and fatigue that I have had in 10 years. I am so discouraged because its all coming back. My spine had been on fire for a week now.
I know that is not an answer..... but I feel your pain....literally!
Any info you come across please let me know.
