Metformin and Levothyroxine both should not affect the anesthesia used to numb you for dental work.
The only reason's a person won't be able to get numb is location of nerve (anesthetic not in the right place) or infection (which makes it harder to numbe the area).
I am a dental hygienist and am on these two drugs as well and have had no issues gettin numb and have ahd no issues numbing patients who are also on these meds. Hope this helps!
