Default metformin making AF lighter?

I've been on met about a month now, and AF this month has been a little lighter. I was wondering if this is a sign that it is working?

I usually have extremely heavy AF's, where I have to get up in the middle of the night 3-4 times to change pads, but this month, I was able to get up only once, after about 6 hours, each night.

It's still AF, not pregnant, because it's still heavy, but not as heavy as usual.

I was wondering if this is a sign that met is working and my hormones are rebalancing?
