Points: 316.23 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 316.23 | Meat & Met YES!! I am totally grossed out by meat since I started Met 2 months ago. Chicken especially...I am driving DH nuts because nothing involving meat sounds good for dinner! I have been trying to cut back on carbs, but if you can't stand meat and aren't eating carbs... that doesn't leave a lot left to eat!

My Mood: Points: 17,810.41 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 17,810.41 | I don't think it has to do with MET, because I'm not on MET but for the past little while I've been totally grossed out by red meat.......even thinking about it makes me sick.
My nutritionist recently told me that I'm eating too much protein.....so for now I'm sticking with fish and lighter meats like turkey or chicken.
Another meat that grosses me out is Pork......ugh.....nasty.
Maybe because I've eaten so much darn meat that my body is now saying....ENOUGH ALREADY.
Who knows. |

I don't know, my doctor told me to stay away from that stuff. I told her no worries, I don't even eat beef. I eat turkey breast, chicken breast, and tuna and it seems to be easy on my tummy.. But yeah if meat makes you sick feeling, just don't eat it.

You should be careful because tuna is loaded with mercury.......I would only eat it maybe once a month, if even. |

I don't like fish at all...I have been frying meat with very little olive oil and it has been helping. My appetite has really gone down a lot. I guess I should be happy about that. My cravings for junk is higher than ever, even though I practically feel full all the time.
