Metformin + Migraine Meds?

Hello All,

I know that I need to check with my doctor to talk about risks, and I will call him, but since it's too late in the evening I was curious if anyone on here knew the answer. Is it safe for me to take my prescription Maxalt-MLT (rizatriptan benzoate) if I get a migraine while I'm on my prescription Metformin(1500mg/day)? Does anyone else have experience with migraine medications while on metformin?
