Hi, I'm on metformin with no IR (that I'm aware of). I was tested once before and it was negative. I just have no periods, am very overweight in the tummy (hence the screen name and have numerous follicles on ultrasound. I started on 1/15. On 2/1 I had spotting that lasted 8 days. Nothing since and no sign of ovulation. Meds have given me a major headache and nausea and I've actually gained a couple of pounds!! It is also making my kidneys hurt. I'm trying to drink more water to see if it helps. good luck to you!
